We strive to feed our family the BEST food and we would love to share that with other local families.

I have some VERY exciting news to share with you! In 2021, our farm will be able to provide our community with locally and sustainably raised pastured poultry and lamb. Our family is still considering what our local community would like to see in their meat share. Since we are a small farm that puts our heart into caring for each animal, we will only be offering a few shares in 2021. I am planning to have preliminary share options ready in late January. Right now we are looking at having a Spring, Fall, and Winter share and families will be able to customize their order. Each order may include a combination of the following: Whole Chicken (Freedom Rangers), Turkey (broad breasted or heritage), Free Range eggs, and Lamb (half or whole for 2021). In other news, the boer does and dorper ewes are enjoying an easy going life in their dry pen for the winter. They are concentrating on growing the next generation of kids and lambs with a low stress environment, lots of high quality hay, and soft dry straw to nap in. Our boer buck, Outlander, and doper ram, Don Diego, are getting used to bachelor life again but appreciate being able to see their ladies from their pens.

Very soon we will get to order our chicks and turkeys for the spring/summer season! I always get a few egg laying chicks to help me raise the turkeys and I am SO excited to add some new fun breeds (and egg colors) to our lovely flock. Does anyone have any egg laying chicken breeds they love?
