Our working border collies are the true engine to our operation.
They are raised and trained here on the farm to help move our flock in a low stress and natural way. This type of animal-human partnership was formed thousands of years back and we are honored to carry on this tradition.
Heather is passionate about training stockdogs and you can see her exhibit our dogs at local herding trials. Our main focus for our dogs is that they are biddable partners, excellent problem solvers, and dependable employees. They are also expected to be enjoyable family members.
All of our border collies are registered with the ABCA (American Border Collie Association) and are health tested (Optimal Selection genetic testing & OFA eyes/hips) before considered for breeding.
We do NOT regularly have litters but please reach out if your are interested in a working border collie. We are always happy to connect other shepherds/handlers with compatible stock dogs.
Jess
DOB: 8/8/2018
Testing Links: Optimal Selection (all clear) & OFA (hips link & eyes link)
About: Jess is a smaller female (35lbs) and is light and fast on her feet. She is a very keen and biddable bitch that can also think for herself when challenges present themselves. She will work sheep, goats, range ewes, and cattle. She prefers to bite the nose and is forward moving with a natural ability to balance and gather. Her herding ability has proven an essential asset to our daily farm life and a fun competitive partner on the trial field. This dog has no vices, she’s our take-everywhere-dog, and easily lives in the house with our children. Jess has placed in several trials, including Grand Champion Intermediate sheep at the NWSS, and is currently competing in USBCHA in Open. Stay tuned as we train, compete and work together.

About: Lad is out of strong imported sheepdog lines with a very successful sire and is already very keen for livestock. He is a hard working and likable dog that isn’t afraid to move forward then free up on his flanks. Lad is a dog with a lot of natural power and has the athletic capacity to work all day. He got to compete in USBCHA Nursery trials in 2024 and we will continue to train and move towards competing in Open. His easy and playful disposition has made him a fun pup to live and work with.
